Connecticut Medicaid

The Connecticut Medicaid program is regulated in the state by the CT Department of Social Services.

Medicaid, also referred to as Title XIX (19), is a federal/state means based program. The Deficit Reduction Act, signed into law on February 8, 2006 has dramatically changed the implementation of this program nationwide.

Connecticut, however, in its regulations goes beyond federal law in certain instances, and the state's implementation beyond federal law is ripe for appeal.
